Role Description The Carpenter role at T47 International, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Brunswick, GA. The Carpenter will perform general and finish carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other building materials for structures such as walls, doors, windows, cabinets, and trim. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints or work orders, framing and repairing structures, and using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
The Carpenter will inspect completed work for quality, help maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all safety standards and company procedures. Collaboration with supervisors and other trades is required to complete projects on time and to specification.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills, including general Carpentry and Finish Carpentry, with the ability to perform accurate measurements, cuts, and installations.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools commonly used in construction and repair work, with a strong focus on safe operation and maintenance.
- Experience in Framing for residential, commercial, or facility projects, including building and repairing walls, partitions, and structural components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- High attention to detail, quality workmanship, and commitment to safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous carpentry or construction experience required; relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry or construction trades preferred.
