Job Summary

Flexible schedule to provide shuttling services for college students via a 14‑passenger van between the Brunswick campus and the off‑site Coastal Place Apartments. Shuttle runs Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm. A CDL license is not required.

Responsibilities
  • Pick up passengers and transport them from Coastal Place Apartments to the Campus Center on the Brunswick campus or local shopping venues, or vice versa.
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times.
  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Follow traffic regulations.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy vehicle by performing light cleaning and monitoring for trash.
  • Perform related work as required.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Current valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and must pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
  • At least 10 years experience driving a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving larger vehicles with multiple passengers.
Proposed Salary

$13.50 per hour.

Conditions of Employment

Successful completion of background investigation and legal authorization to work in the U.S. prior to employment. Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of background investigation including a criminal background check, confirmation of credentials and employment history, and if applicable a satisfactory credit check. Applicants may be subject to a pre‑employment drug test. Offers are made subject to applicable federal and state laws, statutes, rules and regulations of the College of Coastal Georgia and the U.S. Government.
