Automotive Technician

Bill Dodge Auto Group, a family-owned business for over 50 years, is seeking experienced Technicians who thrive in a supportive environment. We are expanding and looking for skilled individuals to diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems according to dealership standards. Responsibilities include performing warranty repairs and delivering excellent customer service.

We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Compensation: up to $125,000 per year

• Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• Satisfactory Background Check
• Valid Driver’s License w/ acceptable driving record
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid State of Maine Vehicle Inspection License
• Current ASE and/or OEM Certifications are strongly preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
