Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid Maine 282 certification and CHRC required
• Willingness to complete Safety Care training
• Experience developing and implementing effective positive behavioral support plans
• Familiarity with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions and programs
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks is highly valued
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with families, staff, and service providers
• Passion for fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction, accommodations, and behavioral supports for students with a range of disabilities in K-5
• Write and execute IEP plans, tracking student progress toward academic and developmental goals
• Design and manage positive behavioral intervention programs to support student success and safety
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families for holistic student support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Integrate MTSS and data-driven approaches in instructional and behavioral planning
