Job DescriptionBrunswick's Special Education Department seeksa resource ed. tech. to join ourKFS team for the school year. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students' programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students' challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1, implement students' IEPs and behavior plans, and support students' unique needs as appropriate.
Successful candidates will also provide support on Special Education transportation.
Qualifications:
- 2 Years of College or Equivalent Experience preferred
- Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education
- Maine Criminal History Records Check
