About this role:We're seeking a caring, energetic, and organized Special Education Teacher to support preschoolers with developmental delays. If you love helping young children grow and thrive, this could be the perfect fit!
At Clarvida, our teachers play a key role in guiding each child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through consistent, and age-appropriate support. You'll collaborate with our Learning Team to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), programming, and monitor student progress through grading, quarterly reports, and data collection. In this leadership role, you will supervise support staff, lead educational planning for your students, maintain contact with the child’s teachers and school districts, and ensure compliance with Maine’s Special Education Regulations (Chapter 101).

Employment Type:
Full-time
Salary: $64,000-$65,000
- $100 Welcome Back prorated monthly bonus starting in September for the return of school
- Weekday year-round school-based position
- Teacher Certification 282 through the State of Maine Pre-K (full certification)
- Copy of diploma and transcripts from an accredited college, university or other educational institution
- CHRC Approval:
Criminal History Record Check and Fingerprints - Valid Maine Driver’s License
