Job DescriptionBrunswick's Special Education Department seeks long term sub ed. techs to join our Brunswick School Department team. The roles are for the start of the 26-27 school year and will continue until determined otherwise. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students’ programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students’ challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1, implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans, and support students’ unique needs as appropriate.
Long term sub ed. tech. opportunities are available at Kate Furbish Elementary, Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary, and Brunswick High School.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 60 college credits
-Maine Criminal History Records Check
