PAY RATE: $20.85/hour
Substitute Paraprofessionals provide coverage for educator absences on an as-needed basis throughout the district, grade levels, and content area. Substitute Paraprofessionals will support students.
Substitutes can select where, when and how often they want to work.
- High School Diploma
- Speak clearly, communicate effectively, accurately hear and see
- Complete with precision and safety all physical duties, including upper and lower body functions, reaching, lifting (at least 10-20 lbs.), bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing stairs
- Complete with accuracy eye-hand coordinated tasks
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) or applicable certification with the Dept. of Education
