What You’ll DoLead Equipment Strategy & Implementation
- Support the facility expansion by managing equipment selection, supplier evaluations, and installation/startup activities.
- Conduct technical assessments, vendor capability reviews, and run‑off evaluations (FAT/SAT).
- Own and manage multiple equipment‑related work streams simultaneously.
- Operate independently day‑to‑day, reporting into the Technical Manager and collaborating across the engineering organization.
You’ll work closely with teams across the site, including:
- Equipment Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Technical Procurement
- Validation Engineering
- Deliver reliable, structured supplier evaluations and maintain strong data integrity in all reporting.
- Make clear, well‑supported decisions that move the project forward with minimal oversight.
- Build trust with cross‑functional partners through consistency, transparency, and technical depth.
This position directly contributes to the expansion and modernization of our manufacturing capabilities. You will influence technology choices, strengthen supplier partnerships, and help implement equipment that will shape operations for years to come.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 8+ years equipment engineering, maintenance, or automation experience.
- Experience in FDA‑regulated and/or cGMP medical manufacturing environments (preferred).
- Medium‑to‑High speed automated machinery experience.
- Strong background in automation, packaging, robotics, servo systems, and electro‑mechanical design, setup, and troubleshooting.
- PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, etc.).
- Controls panel design knowledge (UL508A, NEC).
- Robotic teaching (Fanuc preferred).
- SCADA experience.
- Understanding of RCA, FMEA, and reliability engineering.
- Knowledge of safety standards including NEC, NFPA, LOTO, OSHA, UL, CE.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols (Class
8) is a plus.
- Strong, demonstrated project management capability — absolutely critical.
- Ability to independently manage multiple suppliers and work streams.
- Strong data integrity and accuracy in reporting supplier assessments and technical evaluations.
- Ability to make informed, timely decisions and move the project forward with minimal oversight.
- 10–15% travel (higher than the legacy JD).
- Includes supplier site visits, equipment run‑offs, technical audits, and industry trade shows.
