The Manager of Intake, Education and Infection Prevention provides leadership and direct oversight for the operations of the intake department, staff development activities and infection prevention practices under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the referral process. Responsible for assisting personnel in gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform excellent safe patient care and all support services contributing to patient care.
Provides oversight of the infection prevention program at CHANS to prevent and reduce risk of infection within the home care environment. Collaborates with Infection Prevention's at MCPH health to maintain standards and procedures across the organization. Ensures operations are compliant with Federal and state regulations, CHANS internal policies, and patient care priorities. Demonstrates commitment to agency's goals and to the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Bachelor degree strongly preferred
Certifications:
Current Maine RN license, ME driver's license; BLS certification required.
Minimum 3 years' experience in leadership roles within healthcare required. Knowledge of EMR integration with clinical care required. Experience in community health nursing strongly preferred.
