1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Join our Urology team in Brunswick and become an important part of the care we provide to our patients. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced providers and a dedicated clinical team in a specialty practice where every day brings an opportunity to make a difference.
You’ll support patient care through rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with clinical procedures, and keeping the patient experience running smoothly from start to finish.

- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements:
Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by‑case basis). - License/
Certifications:
Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required. (Prior to 5/01/25 MA IIs with 10 years MA experience and employed by Maine Health as a MA in the most recent 5 years are exempt from certification requirement). Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Fully remote care team members are exempt from BLS certification requirement.
A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire. - Experience: Six months of experience as a Medical Assistant or one year as a Maine Health Clinical Team Assistant.

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
