This position is responsible for the production of Advanced Wound Care dressings through the operation of manufacturing processes and equipment. The main purpose of the role is to operate equipment so that all Key Performance Indicators—quality standards, safety targets, cost measures, and customer service objectives—are achieved. A key part of the role is engaging proactively in continuous improvement practices.
- Operate within all company procedures and standards
- Contribute to safe and efficient manufacturing of AWC products, preparing and inspecting materials and equipment while operating automated production equipment
- Follow good cleanliness and hygiene practices, comply with Environmental Health and Safety guidelines, and properly clean equipment and production areas
- Demonstrate ability to keep pace with production speed by managing time productively and prioritizing daily workload
- Notify team lead or supervisor promptly when quality, equipment, or safety issues occur
- Follow Molnlycke’s Global Quality Policy and Good Manufacturing Practices, including Good Documentation and compliance with local and global regulations
- Ensure effective communication with team members and line management
- Apply Lean Manufacturing mindset, reducing waste in materials, time, money, and other resources
- Act in line with Mölnlycke core values and behavioral standards
- Participate in activities designed to improve production, quality, and safety
- Pre‑employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references required
- Success working in a team‑based environment and ability to meet performance measures with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to make well‑reasoned decisions independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Willingness to work overtime to meet production goals
- Physical ability to spend over 75% of workdays walking or standing; lift up to 50 pounds; perform regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping tasks
- Close vision and color vision required, ability to wear a respirator
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred, but not required
