• Provide Patient-Centered Care:
  • Assess patient health: Interview patients, perform physical examinations, obtain, update, and study medical histories.
  • Determine abnormal conditions: Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures: Administer injections, immunizations, suture, and manage wounds and infections.
  • Educate and Counsel: Empower patients with knowledge about their health, describe therapeutic regimens, give information on normal growth and development, discuss family planning, and wellness through counseling and guidance.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  • Prepare clear, complete, accurate, and legible medical records. Type, edit, and electronically sign all office notes, reports and records using EMR in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company and state procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, including studying existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions.
• Collaborate with a Team: Work collaboratively and pro-actively with other providers and health‑care practitioners within your clinic to efficiently treat patients, and plan coordinated, efficient, and thoughtful dispositions (including transfer), all in a timely manner.

Who You Are

  • Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body.
  • Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (no CPR, ACLS, or online-only classes).
• Relevant experience: Clinical experience gained through rotations or other settings in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is preferred.
• Excellent team player: Enjoy collaborating with others and being part of a strong team dynamic.
• Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal): Forewarn and elevate concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directness both with colleagues and patients.
• Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused: Supports patients through kindness; demonstrates understanding for others and contributes to a community of belonging.
• Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and clinical management systems (EMR).
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including assessment, quality standards, and evaluation of satisfaction.
  • Applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and relevant medical practice regulations.
  • Relevant drugs and their chemical composition, structure, and properties and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids.
  • Current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
