American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a ME or compact RN license.
Details- Work in a 23-bed Emergency Department at a hospital
- Patient ratios of 4 to 6
- Uses Epic EMR
- Day shift schedule with 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM hours
- Every other weekend may be required
- Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed
- Active RN license (ME or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI or MOAB, and NIHSS required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
- Charge nurse experience is a plus
- Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients across a variety of acute cases
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility will be considered local, with a reduced bill rate
- Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
- Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No specific scrub color requirements
