American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2-4+ years of ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details- Emergency Department setting with 23 beds
- Patient ratios of 4 to 6
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend may be required
- Floating required within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
- Epic EMR used
- Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB (CPI or MOAB required prior to start)
- Non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but AHA certification must be completed before start
- 2-5 years of ED nursing experience required
- Charge experience a plus
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
- Provide emergency care to a variety of ED patients
- No specific scrub color requirements
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at time of consideration
- RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
- Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit
