Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary
- Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience

Summary:

This is a Temporary (13-week), Full-time (5pm-5am), 36 hour/week, Night shift position.

Unit Bio:

Our State-of-the-art maternal/newborn 16 bed department features private Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms, fostering a family-centered environment, complete with overnight accommodations for the patient’s support person. Mid Coast Hospital nurses attend all births, provide support and care to mothers, babies and family members and provide a full complement of patient education including traditional and holistic childbirth preparation, and lactation. In addition, we have full-time lactation services for both inpatients and outpatients provided by certified lactation consultants.

The MH Registered Nurse
- Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  • Experience:

    One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
