About the Role
As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate you will grow your career with a team focused on unlocking your full potential and sales success within one of our retail stores. You will generate retail sales, learn and uncover customer needs, position product insights, close sales, develop through training, and potentially grow your customer base through outbound calls and community engagement.
Responsibilities- Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service.
- Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
- Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
- Close sales with communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
- Continuously develop through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
- Potential to grow the customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
- Engage with the community outside the store to expand loyal customer base at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.
Base pay: $16.00–$21.00 per hour. Up to $16,000 a year in individual‑based commissions, with top performers earning an additional $14,500 or more. Total earnings potential $65,000–$73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours, and performance.

You will need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of relevant experience (work or military).
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the schedule known four weeks in advance.
- Openness to pick up additional shifts for extra income during peak periods.
Even better if you have:
- Experience in a commission‑based environment.
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
- Customer service experience.
