Senior Technician - Plumbing and Heating
The position of Senior Mechanical Services Technician is supervised by the Mechanical Services Shop Leader. The position requires the performance of a wide variety of mechanical repairs and installations of heating and plumbing systems and other related maintenance activities.
Salary range: $32-34 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime and shift/weekend differential. Compensation is based on skills and experience.

- Master Plumber License required.
- High School Diploma or GED required, plus minimum of one year of vocational or trades training.
- Valid state of ME class C driver’s license required.
- Licensed Gas/Oil tech preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years work experience directly related to heating and plumbing systems maintenance, repair and installation required. 10 or more years preferred.
The ideal candidate will have the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for heating and plumbing system maintenance, repair and installation. Knowledge of low voltage electrical system is also preferred.
Standard Work Days and HoursMon – Fri 7:00 – 3:30pm. May include weekends and overtime. Must be able to respond 24 hours a day and rotating pager duty is required.
WorkspaceOnsite – This is an on-site role, and candidates must be able to work in person on Bowdoin College Campus in Brunswick, Maine.
