CNC Trainee - 1st Shift

CNC Machine Operator (Entry-Level / Training Provided)

We are seeking mechanically inclined candidates to join our team as CNC Machine Operators. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, solid math skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. While prior CNC experience is a plus, it is not required—training will be provided for the right candidate with the drive to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines and perform part gauging using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Review and interpret blueprints, applying knowledge to inspect and measure machined parts
• Perform light troubleshooting and adjustments to machines as needed
• Complete setups after training and follow established work procedures
• Maintain accurate quality checks and production documentation
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude; must be eager and capable of learning new skills
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and blueprint reading (testing required)
• Solid math and measurement skills, including use of tape measure
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Consistent work history with minimal unexplained gaps
• Must be flexible to work Saturdays and overtime as required
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to learning CNC operations

Additional Information:

• Work environment may be hot during summer months
• Candidates must pass a mics, cals, and blueprint test prior to hire
• Regular work boots or tennis shoes acceptable
