Care Core at Willowood is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Supervisor (LPN or RN) to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical nurse who thrives in a structured environment and is comfortable leading overnight operations while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities.
Position Summary:
The Night Shift Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations on their assigned unit during the night shift. This role includes leadership, clinical oversight, and hands‑on responsibilities, including managing a medication cart.
Schedule:
Full‑Time
Night Shift 6pm-6am
- Supervise and support nursing staff on assigned unit
- Ensure quality resident care and compliance with all regulations
- Administer medications and treatments as assigned, including full medication cart responsibilities
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Address concerns from residents, families, and staff during shift
- Current LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio
- Previous long term care experience preferred
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team while managing direct care responsibilities
