Position SummaryThe Weekend Day Shift Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the facility during assigned weekend shifts. This role provides leadership and support to the nursing team while ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
- Ensure quality resident care and timely response to resident needs.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and changes in resident condition.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during urgent situations.
- Serve as the clinical resource and decision-maker for the nursing team.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience required.
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
