As a part‑time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients within a range of healthcare facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Daytime Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Sunday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, documenting incidents and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post‑hire.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
