Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Front Desk/Receptionist
Sandstone Post Acute is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, perform administrative duties, and responsibly handle resident and facility-related financial transactions. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
ScheduleEvery Tuesday
Every other weekend
Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Monitor facility entrance and visitor sign-in procedures.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
Maintain resident and visitor records as necessary.
Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
Assist department managers with administrative tasks as assigned.
Handle resident trust fund transactions and other cash payments in accordance with facility policies.
Balance cash receipts and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare receipts and maintain documentation of financial transactions.
Ensure confidentiality of resident information and financial records.
Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy, admissions, and other departments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist, customer service, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred.
Cash handling, bookkeeping, or money management experience preferred.
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and office equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to use office equipment including computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
