Paraprofessional Position at Bryan Elementary School

Bryan Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Paraprofessional to join our team. In this role, you will work daily with elementary students to support their MTSS intervention needs by working with small groups of students delivering planned lessons in the areas of reading and/or mathematics.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM (5.75 hours/day, includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

• Targeted Small-Group Instruction:
  Deliver planned, evidence-based tier interventions to small groups of students in core academic areas, specifically focusing on reading foundations (e.g., phonics, fluency) and mathematics.
• Progress Monitoring & Data Collection:
  Assist certified staff by administering brief, routine progress monitoring checks and accurately recording student performance data to track growth over time.

Qualifications:

• Certification:
  Must have obtained (or be eligible to obtain) the ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) certification / Ohio Educational Aide Permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or 48 semester hours of higher education preferred).
• Experience working with elementary-aged children
• Strong communication, patience, and collaborative teamwork skills.
