Job Overview
Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bryan, OH.
Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, with Saturday rotation.
Responsibilities- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
- Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
- In lieu of work experience, recent phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency.
$17.75 - $24.00 per hour
BenefitsEmployees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, along with casual, intern, and temporary staff, are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
