Job Functions:
Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls® for exterior building envelopes and facades. The Fluid Reclamation Specialist is responsible for the collection, processing, recycling, and proper disposal of industrial fluids used in manufacturing operations. This role ensures fluid systems are maintained efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental and company standards.

- Maintains the coolant recycler unit.
- Maintains the briner, waste tank for solid waste, clean tanks regularly, over all general maintenance.
- Take care of and gives counts on incoming and outgoing solid waste barrels.
- Take care of the recycling oil and where it is and what we have.
- Fluid reclamation duties of manufacturing machinery.
- Follow and perform tasks given via Asset Essentials.
- Keeps inventory of soaps and defoamers and lets me know when we are low and how much to order.
- Cleans and maintains sump suckers
- Cleans and maintains the bulk wastewater tanks.
- Run the floor scrubber (both) on a regular basis (Ambas, Conventional, isle ways).
- Runs magnet in parking lot and through departments.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous inventory experience preferred
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong, dedicate work ethic.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Can work with very little supervision.
- Good organizational, communication (including written and verbal skills).
- Basic computer skills.
- Mechanically inclined (understands the differences in tools and how to use them).
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Knowledge of ISO procedures-relevant to department
- Cleanliness and detail oriented
- Must be able to obtain licensure and willing to operate both a stand up and gas forklifts.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop or lift up to 50 pounds.
