Job DescriptionThe Administrative Coordinator II works under general supervision and coordinates administrative support for the Bush Combat Development Complex. The ideal candidate serves as the first point of contact for all employees and guests and is expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Responsibilities- Coordinate administrative support functions; plan and coordinate administrative activities and services; participate in planning and execution of administrative operations; may serve as office manager; monitor office procedures; develop, evaluate, and ensure adherence to office procedures; may assist in budget development.
- Review and sign documents for supervisor; attend meetings or committees on behalf of supervisor.
- Analyze program, project, or initiative; monitor project timelines and identify issues; adapt, combine, and improve services, processes, or programs.
- Formulate, interpret, and/or implement management policies or operating practices; develop administrative and technical procedures; research, interpret, compile, and respond to inquiries about rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; may monitor compliance.
- Perform special analyses and project summaries; prepare and review operational and special reports; coordinate office records retention; maintain office references and resources materials.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries; plan and coordinate meetings, seminars, and other special events.
- Coordinate maintenance of office supplies and equipment; make recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate work of others; assign tasks and evaluate job progress.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience.
- Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
