The General Labourer assists with various manual tasks across different work sites to support operations. This role involves physical work, following instructions, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Assist skilled workers and tradespeople as needed.
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery safely.
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Help with site preparation and setup.
- Remove debris and manage waste disposal.
- Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- No formal education required; a high school diploma is an advantage.
- Previous experience in manual labor or construction is helpful but not mandatory.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
