Utility Construction Superintendent
Brazos Paving, Inc. is seeking an Underground Wet Utility Superintendent with large diameter pipe experience (12" and larger), that's looking to work for an established sitework construction company in Bryan, TX. We have built an outstanding reputation for quality, service, and performance that our customers rely on. We install Domestic water, sanitary sewer, and storm drains (no electrical or irrigation) for a variety of clients ranging from municipalities, small and large commercial sites, apartment complexes, college campuses, and airports.

Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the on-site safety, operations, and installation of sewer, water, and storm drain projects, directing and training field personnel, and demonstrating effective communication with project managers, superintendents, and other governing agencies to ensure on-time and on budget productivity. Oversee multiple job sites and have a working knowledge of current project status and issues while building and maintaining strong customer relationships through highly-responsive service, reliability, and quality work.
Qualifications:
- Specific experience in underground utility construction.
- Specific experience in removal, installation, and repair of underground wet utility pipelines and structures.
- Experienced safety monitor with a full understanding of confined space and trench safety standards.
- Able to read and understand plans and specs with accuracy.
- Able to control labor, material, supply, and equipment cost to assure the job is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Assure that only required amounts of sand, gravel and other materials are used on the job. Plan and monitor the work so material is not wasted.
- Each week, plan the next week's job activities in order to determine the number of crew members needed each day to complete the work, Schedule deliveries of materials, supplies, and equipment in advance.
- Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
- Able to cooperate and coordinate with other trades on the job site.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings.

Schedule:
- 10-hours shifts

Experience:
- Construction: 5 years (Preferred)
