Baylor Medicine Pathology practice is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Surgical Pathologist to join our collegial, hospital-based team in Bryan/College Station, Texas —home to Texas A&M University. This position supports a two-campus system and offers a balanced general pathology practice in a supportive, community-focused environment. Baylor Medicine Pathology includes 46 pathologists providing anatomic and clinical pathology services across the Texas Medical Center as well as a growing network of regional hospitals throughout South Texas.

We are actively advancing digital pathology, advanced diagnostics, and physician leadership across all practice locations. Baylor College of Medicine offers a supportive, team-oriented environment where pathologists can focus on delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a sustainable workload. You'll work alongside experienced, approachable colleagues with strong on-site support, and have access to Baylor Medicine Pathology's broader network for subspecialty collaboration and professional growth.

This role offers a high level of day-to-day autonomy, combined with the reassurance of available expertise when needed. With ongoing investment in digital pathology and evolving diagnostic capabilities, you'll be part of a practice that is moving forward.

Position Highlights

  • General surgical pathology with light call responsibilities
  • No autopsies
  • Case mix includes approximately 7,500 surgical cases and 500 cytology cases annually
  • Strong on-site support, including a Pathologists' Assistant and administrative staff
  • All grossing, histology, and immunohistochemistry performed on-site
  • Subspecialty sign-out support for hematopathology and bone marrows
  • Access to a broad network of subspecialty consultants across Baylor Medicine
  • Interest or experience in ENT, breast, or GI pathology preferred, but not required

Minimum Qualifications

  • AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Open to both experienced pathologists and new graduates
