Lineworker Instructor II
Location: Bryan, Texas
Salary: $6,250.00 per month
Role at a GlanceThe Agency Instructor II, under direction, assists in various functions related to electric power transmission and distribution industry as part of the Utilities Electric Power Program.
Responsibilities- Assist in various functions related to electric power transmission and distribution industry under direction.
- Follow approved curriculum course outlines.
- Apply adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of instruction.
- Perform online and/or classroom instruction, field‑based skills training, and/or provide technical assistance in one or more specialty area disciplines.
- Use a variety of media to present course material.
- Assist in creating new and/or updating curriculum content as necessary to meet learner needs.
- Report to the Agency Training Coordinator.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years of electric/power linework related experience.
- Two years of adult education and/or training.
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Equivalency:
Associate’s degree in a related field and three years of electric/power linework experience, or Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience.
