College Station, Texas, United States.
Incumbent will primarily perform Teller and/or Personal Banker duties. The role requires frequent face‑to‑face, written correspondence, or telephone contact with customers and bank employees. Good customer relations skills are essential.
Essential Functions- Process deposit and withdrawal transactions based on the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Answer phone calls, process treasury, tax, and loan payments, savings bonds, and mail deposits.
- Manage safe deposit boxes and other financial transactions.
- Sell and service all account products including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRA, and check orders.
- Cross‑train in image capture processes.
- Actively participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support organization values, and follow established bank policies and procedures.
- Travel periodically to Abilene or other bank regions for training.
- Work Saturday and holiday hours as required by branch location’s hours of operation.
- A self‑starting team player with a high school diploma or GED.
- College degree or at least twelve months of customer contact and sales experience (banking experience preferred).
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Mathematical and general business knowledge acquired through high school education.
- Typing and calculator proficiency.
- Customer relations, accuracy, speed, detail, flexibility, judgment, and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle multitasking and flexible hours, including extended hours as business requires.
- Proficiency in teller machines, calculators, keyboards, encoders, image capture/scanners, OSCAR (ATM cards), SEI Trust System, Streamline, Vertex, Word, and Excel.
