Teller Bryan

Position Purpose

Perform numerous functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, processing loan payments, savings bonds, and cashier’s checks while promoting the bank’s products and services and providing excellent customer service.

• Responsible for efficient, effective, and accurate teller operations.
• Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Receive and process deposits and loan payments.
• Cash checks and other negotiable instruments.
• Examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
• Process transfers between accounts.
• Sell traveler’s checks, official checks, and money orders.
• Process credit card cash advances.
• Verify and balance cash daily.
• Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Offer other bank products to meet customer needs and strengthen relationships.
• Maintain no more than one proof error within a 30‑day period.
• Follow teller procedures consistently and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Receive and resolve client requests and inquiries promptly.
• Operate online teller terminal and protect customer information privacy.
• Maintain the bank’s quality reputation.
• Assist area personnel and provide training or orientation as needed.
• Keep supervisor informed of activities and concerns.
• Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.
• Attend meetings, training classes, and shift changes as scheduled.
• Perform night drop, clerical duties, and maintain a clean, secure work area.
• Cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Understanding of bank operations preferred.
• At least one year of related cash‑handling experience; previous teller experience preferred.
• Good communication skills, professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good typing and math skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
• Completion of all required training and webinars in the 90‑day plan, GS3 Program, Precision, Integrated Teller – Advanced functions, IVIEW, Product Knowledge, SCO, ATM Balancing, WITS/Wires – minimum domestic, Dual Control, and Risk Management Skill.

Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM;
Saturday: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM; 40 hours per week.
