Director Of Finance

Surgery Partners seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and performance across its surgical facilities. In this role, you will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, providing insight that informs clinical and operational decisions. You will partner closely with physicians, administrators, and corporate leaders to optimize revenue, manage costs, and support value-based care and growth initiatives. The Director will ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and accurate financials, while mentoring a high-performing finance team in a dynamic, multi-site healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Surgery Partners locations
• Oversee monthly closes, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Support strategic decisions with financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations and internal controls
• Optimize revenue cycle, cost management, and capital allocation
• Partner with physicians and operational leaders on performance initiatives
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and long-term financial planning
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting staff
• Support value-based care, growth initiatives, and M&A integration
