Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This full-time, on-site position involves providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Document all clinical interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
• Current, unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Texas.
• DEA certification and ability to prescribe controlled substances.
• Experience in addiction psychiatry or dual diagnosis treatment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
