Position: Travel Physical Therapist - $1,932 per week

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – 12‑week assignment in Bryan, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history to identify functional limitations.
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management.
  • Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development.
  • Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home.
  • Perform other duties within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid physical therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
  • Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required.
Required Essential Skills
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with PC skills.
  • Physical abilities: able to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
  • Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism.
  • Technical/motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures.
  • Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, handle irregular activity schedules, and maintain concentration on detail.
  • Sensory requirements: visual acuity and effective communication.
