Job Details
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – 12‑week assignment in Bryan, Texas.
- Start Date:
07/06/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks
- Hours:
40 per week (8‑hour days) - Shift: 8‑hour days

- Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history to identify functional limitations.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management.
- Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development.
- Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home.
- Perform other duties within scope of practice.
- Valid physical therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
- Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication.
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient with PC skills.
- Physical abilities: able to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism.
- Technical/motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures.
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, handle irregular activity schedules, and maintain concentration on detail.
- Sensory requirements: visual acuity and effective communication.
