Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiology Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) for a facility located in Bryan, Texas. This role involves providing advanced imaging services primarily during night shifts, with responsibilities including operating GE scanners, performing scans with and without contrast, and maintaining compliance with all safety and procedural standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule:
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 7 days on/7 days off, with call responsibilities every 6th week requiring a 30-minute response time. - Required Qualifications:
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified CT Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT - CT), Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Valid verification of license required at submission. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Emergency Room and inpatient settings; current in-house radiology services during night hours. - Additional Information:
The role requires the ability to start IVs, operate three GE CT scanners (including 16- and 64-slice units), and work in a fast-paced, acute care setting. The department uses Meditech / Fuji for EMR and PACS systems. Must adhere to department-specific orientation and cancellation policies, with an emphasis on minimal call-outs.
