Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a qualified Physical Therapist to serve on a 12‑week travel assignment at a facility in Bryan, Texas.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Experience in physical therapy (new graduates welcome)
• Additional certifications or licenses as applicable to the position

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, maintaining proper calibration
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self‑management techniques
• Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
• Physical abilities: stationary positioning, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, and bending
• Interpersonal skills: effective collaboration with diverse personnel, positive attitude, professionalism
• Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, assistance with procedures and equipment use
• Mental requirements: handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently, sustain focus on detail
• Sensory requirements: adequate visual acuity and communication ability
