Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Bryan, Texas
Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a qualified Physical Therapist to serve on a 12‑week travel assignment at a facility in Bryan, Texas.

- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Experience in physical therapy (new graduates welcome)
- Additional certifications or licenses as applicable to the position
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations and treatment needs
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, maintaining proper calibration
- Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self‑management techniques
- Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
- Physical abilities: stationary positioning, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, and bending
- Interpersonal skills: effective collaboration with diverse personnel, positive attitude, professionalism
- Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, assistance with procedures and equipment use
- Mental requirements: handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently, sustain focus on detail
- Sensory requirements: adequate visual acuity and communication ability
