Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Bryan, Texas. This professional will join a team providing specialized services within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including routine catheterization procedures, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patient care, as well as electrophysiology (EP) procedures. The role requires adaptability to float between locations and handle diverse case types.
Job Details
- Position:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. - Location:
Bryan, Texas, and College Station, Texas. - Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities.
- Schedule:
40 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Certifications:
ACLS, ARRT, BLS;
Verification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS);
Education:
No specific degree requirements indicated;
Location:
Texas;
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a relevant setting. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in electrophysiology (EP), scrubbing EP procedures, and emergent stroke cases with IR experience. - Additional Information:
Candidates should have experience performing routine catheter procedures, including peripheral and stroke cases, and be capable of scrubbing EP to include LAAO. The role involves circulating during cases, monitoring with Merge Hemodynamics and documentation systems (moving to EPIC Gold), and performing post-procedure patient care, including pre and post-op. Candidates must have the ability to float between Bryan and College Station campuses and be cross-trained in monitoring cases.
