The HR Generalist provides day‑to‑day HR support for assigned client groups, serving as the frontline contact for employees and supervisors. This role promotes positive employee experience, ensures policy and regulatory compliance, and supports broader HR initiatives.

• Serve as the frontline HR contact, addressing questions on HR processes, policies, and procedures.
• Provide HR support including employee relations guidance, issue resolution, and documentation.
• Support employee investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Coordinate new‑hire onboarding and employee transitions.
• Communicate and implement HR programs, initiatives, and process improvements.
• Maintain HR metrics for assigned client groups, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to facilitate hiring for assigned groups, including interview coordination and documentation.
• Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and DOT‑related requirements, including DOT drug‑testing (as applicable).
• Participate in HR projects and activities as assigned.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with leaders and employees at all levels.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail, follow‑through, and deadline management.
• Excellent communication, time‑management, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years’ human resources experience (experience as an HR Coordinator or Generalist preferred).
• HR Certification preferred (SHRM CP, PHR).
• Experience in manufacturing or transportation‑related industries preferred.
