Responsibilities
  • Support all phases of IPG Test Operations (Plan, Prepare, Execute, and Assess).
  • In conjunction with the Senior Tech I, conduct periodic Range and facility maintenance and improvements, including limited landscaping operations.
  • Execute equipment accountability and sustainability operations to ensure all equipment is fully mission‑capable and/or receiving repairs.
  • Support IPG internal and external Validation, Verification, and accreditation events for instrumentation and network interoperability.
  • Employ the IPG's camera, radar, and network capabilities to optimize event coverage.
  • Function as the Range Officer in Charge and/or Range Safety Officer for support to both internal and external events.
  • Plan events independently as required.
  • Provide input to, and assist in, the development of supply, maintenance, and operational policies governing IPG operations.
  • Enforce all safety procedures and policies, including but not limited to operating in open air environments (hot and cold), confined space, and lockout/tag‑out.
  • Assist the DoT in planning and resourcing specialized programs such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops to facilitate program goals.
  • Serve as the IPG's alternate purchase card holder and, when needed, execute all aspects of purchasing; research, cut sheet, approval, buy, and deliver.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma.
  • Two years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registration, Certifications, and Licenses
  • Must be able to gain and maintain a DoD (Department of Defense) security clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
  • Proven critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to operate autonomously after provided guidance and objectives.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
