Qualifications:
- Valid BEI Certification required (applicants with out-of-state credentials are welcomed and encouraged to apply)
- Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in school settings
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation in both educational and collaborative team environments
- Ability to interpret across grade levels, adapting language to age and subject matter
- Excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students in classroom and school-based activities
- Support students understanding and participation in curriculum, discussions, and events
- Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to ensure accessible instruction
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times
