This position requires in‑role training at an operating site, which will be 6+ weeks in duration. The training will be located 50+ miles away from the home site location, and all travel accommodations will be booked and paid for by Amazon.
Amazon’s Worldwide Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals who want to join our team as an Operations Manager. In this role you will play a key part in maintaining customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered on time, to the right location. You will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent, engaging them during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
Managers are expected to equip their team with the tools needed for success while driving improvements through data‑driven decisions and analytical problem‑solving.
The Operations workflow has three major components:
First mile (product storage), Middle mile (order hauling), and Last mile (delivery). Rural Super Rural (RSR) ensures customers receive deliveries and satisfaction even in remote areas, continually innovating the last mile delivery process.
- Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
- Lead large‑scope projects with site and regional impact.
- Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to load‑balance.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Collaborate with Support teams (Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, HR) to develop plans to meet business objectives.
- Lift up to 49 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs during shifts up to 12 hours.
- Work in an environment with variable noise, temperatures, and weather (outside loading departments and refrigerated grocery locations).
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Salary:
United States, Texas, Bryan – $91,000.00 – $ USD annually.
