CNC Machinist

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals Central East Texas full‑time, part‑time, and temporary positions at no cost to candidates

• Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials correctly
• Calculate and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
• Inspect parts during production to ensure quality and accuracy
• Identify and correct machine malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance conditions
• Follow all safety standards and workplace procedures

• Excellent attendance and punctuality is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow instructions
• Previous CNC machining experience required – experience with Mazak, Okuma, and/or SL80 machines preferred
• Manufacturing or machining experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills (fractions and decimals)
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours
  , including in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work various shifts based on production needs

• Troubleshooting Skills
• CNC Programming
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
• Machine Setups for Production Runs

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Lathe (2‑4 axis) (Mazak, Okuma)
