Spherion - Up to $25.00/hour - - Responsibilities:
Join, surface, and repair metal structures and components according to technical drawings and blueprints.;
Interpret complex engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications to plan layout and assembly sequences.;
Conduct thorough inspections of welds (visual and dimensional) to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.;
Perform routine maintenance on welding machines, torches, and shop tools to ensure peak performance and safety.;
Select the appropriate welding method and set optimal parameters (voltage, amperage, gas flow) based on material type and thickness.
