Job Title: ASME Welder/Fabricators

Refrigeration Vessels & Systems (RVS) located in Bryan, Texas is seeking to hire ASME Welder/Fabricators with Pressure Vessel experience.

ASME Code Welder/Fabricators are responsible for welding all features onto the vessel including, but not limited to nozzles, heads, flanges, test connections, internals, and other specified items. Applicants must be able to use Pulsed MIG welding to ASME Section VIII code specifications. Shift hours:
Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day from 8:30 pm to 7:00 am. Hired candidates will train on day shift Monday‑Friday, 8 hours per day from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a second shift position, with future opportunities to apply for day shift positions.

• Pipe welding experience in GTAW & GMAW‑P in the 6G position.
• Open root welds from one side with GMAW‑P.
• Experience producing X‑ray quality welds.
• Capable of fitting up weldments with consideration for tolerance, shrinkage, & heat‑induced distortion.
• Experience with stainless steel.

• Certification or ability to pass certification in carbon steel with Pulsed MIG (GMAW‑P) in the horizontal & vertical positions.
• Capable of reading blueprints including weld symbols.
• Capable of vessel layout, carbon‑arc gouging & oxy‑fuel cutting.li>
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience welding/fitting vessels, 2+ years.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Occupational Assessment, including drug test.
