Production Worker - Fountain Avenue

Job Summary:

Responsible for loading and off-loading machines. Transporting parts and components. Stocking racks with material.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Moving parts, pieces, and/or cabinets from one area to another.

Load or offload parts and pieces from machines and conveyors.

Keep a safe workplace by housekeeping and keeping an organized work area.

Use assistive lifting and transporting devices to prevent injuries to self and others.

Stacking and wrapping pallets of material / components.

Load and unload transport trucks.

All other responsibilities assigned by supervisor or team leader.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Assembling Sand and prep Material handling

Loading and off loading

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Stand and walk up to twelve hours per day on concrete surfaces while loading and stacking cabinets in the factory.

Physically carry and transport items long distances up to twelve hours a day.

Must be able to lift, carry, and transport items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.

Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.

Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person.

Must be mentally altered and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.

Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations.

Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.

Good attendance and punctuality are necessary.

Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company’s image of excellence.

Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed.
