Estimator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Snelling Staffing is hiring an experienced Estimator in Bryan, TX.

This position is with a well-established metal fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have estimating experience in metals, steel fabrication, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, or a related field.

Position Responsibilities:

Review drawings, plans, specifications, and project details
Prepare accurate estimates for fabrication projects
Perform material takeoffs
Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and project costs
Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing
Communicate with customers, project managers, and internal team members
Assist with bid preparation and proposal development
Track project details and maintain organized estimating records

Requirements:

Estimating experience required
Metals, fabrication, structural steel, or miscellaneous steel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong math and measurement skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Good communication skills
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines

Experience with fabrication, construction, or industrial projects preferred

Pay:

Salary is negotiable based on experience. Previous salary range for this type of role was around $80,000, depending on qualifications.
