The Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations during an assigned shift, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. This role provides leadership to production staff, coordinates workflow, and serves as the first point of contact for operational issues on the floor.

DescriptionShifts Available
Second Shift: Monday through Thursday 3p-1am
Third Shift: Friday through Sunday 5a-5p
Fourth Shift: Friday through Sunday 5p-5a
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members during assigned shifts
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance and skills
- Conduct shift start‑up meetings and communicate production goals and expectations
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating concerns when necessary
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality, and logistics
- Promote a positive, professional, and team‑oriented work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality control
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make decisions under pressure
Work Environment &
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Exposure to manufacturing environments including noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required
