Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety‑conscious Experienced Welder to join a production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fabricating, manufacturing, and repairing high‑quality metal structures and components. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands‑on experience with multiple welding techniques, a deep understanding of structural blueprints, and a proven track record of maintaining strict safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.

6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities- Set up, position, align, and fit components together using jigs, clamps, and fixtures in preparation for welding.
- Perform high‑quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) based on project specifications.
- Read, analyze, and accurately execute welding tasks directly from complex technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Inspect finished welds for defects, cracks, or structural weaknesses, ensuring all output meets industry codes and internal quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding torches, gas regulators, grinding wheels, and other fabrication tools safely; troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations, including proper use of PPE and maintaining a clean, hazard‑free workspace.
- Strong proficiency in Flux‑Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), handling both gas‑shielded and self‑shielded wire.
- Experience operating heavy shop machinery such as brake presses, shears, or overhead cranes.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with ability to identify potential design flaws or fabrication challenges before starting a weld.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional welding experience in manufacturing, construction, or structural fabrication.
- Proven mastery of MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding processes across all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
- Strong ability to interpret blueprint schematics, welding symbols, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Competence using standard fabrication tools, including plasma cutters, oxy‑acetylene torches, grinders, and measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures).
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work comfortably in hot, loud, or awkward environments.
Trade education; 1–4 years of experience.
